Educated Hoops Playground Lessons

This painting is from a growing series titled Educated Hoops.  This piece titled Playground Lessons was painted with my two girls in mind and our experience as a family with education and school and the social environments created by that dynamic.  Im sure that some of my own personal experience of grammar school and middle school are thrown in their as well.  We have a very competent, loving and committed school in our community and despite all that the educational environment is not an easy one for my girls.  With the addition of COVID, education is more complicated than ever.
