playing with the figure and abstract painting, this is from a series of ten, so more coming...

From a series of paintings called Educated Hoops. This piece is titled Playground Lessons. I start this at the beginning of COVID. This painting is so loaded with thoughts and feelings of education in America and my experience with my own girls and their education. I can't even begin to untangle what my perception is, but here is some of the imagery.
